Lance Bolay has been the Minister of Spiritual Formation at Glenwood since July of 2012. Prior to his ministry with Glenwood, he worked with churches in Belton, Texas, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Muskogee, Oklahoma. He received his Bachelor's degree in Bible from Oklahoma Christian University and a Master's in Christian Ministry from Abilene Christian University. He has a certification in Spiritual Direction from the Institute for Christian Spirituality in Nashville, Tennessee and a certification in Leading Contemplative Prayer Groups and Retreats from the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Washington, D.C. Lance enjoys reading, indoor cycling, yoga, raquetball, powerlifting and spending time with his wife Daphne and their three children: Caleb, Abigail, and Aletheia.
Wes Crawford has been the Preaching Minister at Glenwood since the summer of 2011. Prior to his ministry with the Glenwood family, he preached at two other congregations in Texas, in Stamford and in Lubbock. In addition to his ministry within the church, Wes also has worked in the academic world. After completing his PhD in Church History and Homiletics at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, he taught those same subjects at Lubbock Christian University. When he is not preaching, Wes enjoys fishing, playing basketball, and spending time with his wife, Kim, and their four children: Anna, Elizabeth, Luke, and Benjamin.
Wes has a passion for preaching and teaching, and his prayer is that Glenwood will continue to become a body that facilitates the ongoing reconciliation of God’s people with each other and with their Creator.

Tim Hicks came to Glenwood in December of 2010 as Children’s Minister. Prior to beginning his service at Glenwood, Tim served as a youth minister for the West Side congregation in Searcy, Arkansas and the Bentonville congregation in northwest Arkansas. He served 20 years in youth ministry before transitioning into children’s ministry. He has been serving as a children’s minister since 2008. Tim received his Bachelor’s Degree in Bible from Harding University. He continued his education there to receive his Master’s of Science in Education emphasis in Religion. When not surrounded by children, Tim enjoys movies, reading and anything dealing with “Star Trek.” Becky, his wife, is a true helpmate and servant. Tim and Becky are blessed with two sons, Ryan and Benjamin.
Tim has a passion for serving families. He wants Glenwood Church of Christ to become a place for families to grow closer to God and one another while serving their community.

John Hodges has been on staff at Glenwood since January 2006. Before coming to Glenwood, he was Worship and Family Minister at Eastside Church of Christ in Colorado Springs, Colorado. John has a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Abilene Christian University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Vocational Ministry from Harding University. John enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim, and their four children, Johnathan, Kalleigh, Jonas and Kate, and singing with award-winning vocal jazz group, Clearly Vocal.
John loves to collaborate with others in planning deeply meaningful worship experiences. In leading worship, his ultimate goal is to get out of the way and point people to God. He loves to see the message communicated in unique and powerful ways and longs to see unity in the body of Christ.

Steven Smith came to Glenwood in August of 2014 as the Youth and Family Minister. Steven began working with youth and their families in 2001. Before coming to Glenwood, Steven worked with Fairmont Park in Midland, Freetown Road in Grand Prairie, and Hillcrest in Arlington. Steven received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministry from Dallas Baptist University. Steven loves to spend time with his wife, Celeste, and children: Lily, River and Canyon. The Smith family loves to spend time outdoors backpacking, kayaking, hiking, and camping.
Steven has a strong desire to see young people and their families living life fully. Steven recognizes the influence and importance parents have on their teenagers and seeks to form a partnership working alongside families. He seeks to bring all praise and honor to God, while teaching and equipping young people to live the life of abundance God desires for them.
